Latest News

Welcome to sbirropatch.com. Although we have a new look we are still the same police patch collector enthusiasts as we were over a decade ago. We have remodeled our website and are still in the process of finishing the site. If you have suggestions e-mail us your ideas. Have a look around and thanks for stopping in.

Welcome

If you wish to have your police patch website listed on sbirropatch.com drop us a line and we'll look it over and if we approve it we'll post a banner and link for you (free).

Law Enforcement Memorial

All of the Law Enforcement community mourns the loss of one of their fallen brothers. Officer Richard Matthews of the Wilmington Police Department lost his life doing what he loved. On February 18, 2009 at 1:18am, while responding to assist a fellow officer calling for assistance, Officer Matthews lost control of his patrol car, and was fatally injured in a vehicle accident. We pay him tribute for the ultimate sacrifice he gave to his community and  brothers. Rest In Peace 313.

you are listening to a LIVE Police Radio Feed.

**Just a note** The New Hanover County area Emergency Services (including the N.C. State Highway  Patrol) are moving from an Analog System to a Digital System. The change is expected to happen before 2010, and as early as six months from now, (March 2009). As a result we will be unable to provide a feed with our current equipment. In order to provide a Digital Feed we will be in need of a Digital Scanner which runs approximately $500. We wish to continue offering live uninterrupted feeds however without the equipment we cannot.

We have discussed setting up a donation to Sbirropatch.com to raise the funds to purchase the scanner. If you are interested and would like to provide feedback, email us and perhaps we will set up a Paypal link to collect donations. Another note, our services cost us approximately $9.94 on an average day to feed the data to our servers, this does not include our ISP bill and electrical utility bill. Thanks in advance and thank you for your support.
